Intelligence | A key trait of Emotional Awareness is an increased ability to recognize the strengths of others. As we do this, we open up infinitely more avenues to learn from those around us. Having more experts and a broader experience set to learn from provides distinct advantages to increase informational and skill-based intelligence.
Communication | As you become more aware of your personal feelings and biases, as well as the emotions and environmental impact on those around you, it becomes easier to relate to others. This means you can better explain and connect concepts and information to things that matter to others around you. This in turn makes you a more effective communicator, whether writing or speaking.
Drive | When we do something to directly benefit ourselves we are often highly motivated. But doing something because you recognize the benefits and impacts on those around you is a key trait of a higher Emotionally Aware individual. It also typically makes people more driven because now you feel a responsibility not to let those invested in you down.
